We empower women through conversation and community.
We empower women through conversation. All of our collections revolve around a subject that modern women struggle with. We provide a tool and space to talk about these tricky topics. Some of these include self care, inclusivity, women’s rights, and navigating our ever increasing digital world. Our designs have phrases on them that are simple conversation starters. Whether it’s on social media or in person, the tees serve as a tool to bring it up. They are also reminders to the wearer that they are not alone and to feel empowered. Dazey believes conversation and education creates change. We use our tees and social media presence to do just that. We don't have customers, we have a community that feels heard and understood by our brand and platform.
Our apparel is hand drawn and handmade to order in LA. We create our clothing in small batches and print our graphics to-order in an effort to create as little waste as possible and do our best to make a positive impact on the environment - we like the call this process "Slow Fashion". All of our tees are custom made for Dazey from 100% certified organic cotton. We believe in order to be a company that stands for empowerment that every person that touches our tees should be positively impacted. Our production process is fully ethical and our garment workers are paid a living wage and work in clean safe facilities, something most fashion companies can not claim.
We stand for women choosing to be brave and share their ideas and talents with the world. Today Dazey is a community, a resource, and a line of kick ass clothing. Along with our own line we proudly carry apparel and accessories made by other female entrepreneurs in our Dazey Lady Shop This ties back into our mission to support fellow females. From accessories to home goods, we have curated a collection of Dani's favorite female owned brands and goods. Purchase with purpose, every order goes towards fueling art, sustainable fashion, and small business.
Dani is a self taught artist, muralist, graphic designer, fashion designer, interior designer, and photographer. Starting her career at age 19, she worked designing for notable brands both freelance and full time. Some of these companies include Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Forever21, Amuse Society, Show me your Mumu, Torrid, Current/Elliott, Macy's, and more. In 2016 she took the leap and created her own clothing line, Dazey LA. Early on she begun to share her entrepreneurial journey via video with full transparency. She would show everything from her artistic design process, marketing tips, and the emotional rollercoaster that is starting your own business. People started to take notice, and the response was incredible. That's when Dazey LA shifted from being a company to a calling.
